Typical water tank installation

All tanks must be installed on a suitably designed reinforced concrete foundation slab overlaying a stable foundation material, or other suitably compacted and retained crushed dust base.

All Omega Tanks OWT RD 750 & OWT SL 1000 must be installed adjacent to an existing wall of a building or property and supported at the top of the tank by an appropriately designed support member and connections.

The tanks do not have the ability to support live loads placed on the roof of the tank which includes both stacked material and human access. All minimum outlet heights are marked on the tank, these are specific to the style and size of the tank.
